Betsy Johnson is the school counselor for Morehead City Middle School students with the last names A-K. She got her undergraduate degree from NC State University (GO PACK!) and her Masters of Counseling from Wake Forest University. Her love for the salt air and beach came from spending childhood summers in Salter Path, NC. She decided to make the move to MHC permanent in 2021. She loves spending time outside or on the water with her son, Bennett, and exploring everything beautiful Carteret County has to offer. Betsy is so excited to be a part of the MCMS Minutemen family!

Sue Sippel is the school counselor for Morehead City Middle School students with the last names L-Z. She got her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and her Masters of Counseling from ECU. Ms. Sip came to Morehead Middle in 2001 as a Science teacher after teaching science in Ohio for 11 years. She loves being a part of the Minute Man family. Ms. Sip is an avid Bills fan.
