ALLteachers include vocabulary development as learning objectives.


Action Steps

  • All teachers in all subject areas are implementing 'Leveraging Literacy' techniques in the classroom


Evidence

  • 20% increase in subject area vocabulary fluency

ALL teachers use assessment data and match instruction and instruction supports to individual student needs.


Action Steps

  • Three Check-Ins testing sessions are scheduled before EOG's to give teachers and Admin. a more clear picture of student progress in the content areas

  • Testing sessions will be scheduled and conducted

Strategy 1

ALL teachers teach and reinforce positive social skills, self respect, relationships, and responsibility for the consequences of decisions and actions

Action Steps

  • Create an atmosphere of inclusivity for students/a sense of belonging. Decrease student discipline referrals, measured through discipline data and attendance

  • Reduced number of discipline referrals when compared to previous years and within the same cohort
