This is our second annual event, and it involves our entire school community, so we are hoping to get as much support and participation as possible!

We are still looking for lots of volunteers to help make the event successful. We need people to help along the racecourse, assist with setting up refreshments, serve as our announcer, help at water stations, and donate prizes, snacks, drinks, and monetary contributions to help cover the cost of event supplies and prizes.

We are also collecting donations for Hope Mission as part of our effort to give back to our local community during this season of giving. Each grade level has been assigned specific items to collect:

6th Grade

Pasta and stuffing: Rotini and Stove Top stuffing

Vegetables: Green beans, carrots, mixed vegetables, and corn

Beans: Baked beans, chili beans, and light or dark kidney beans

7th Grade

Cream soups: Cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and cream of celery

Stocks: Chicken, vegetable, and beef stock

Gravies: Brown, chicken, and turkey gravy

Sauces and dressings: Barbecue sauce, Alfredo sauce, and Italian dressing

8th Grade

Seasonings and toppings: French-fried onions, salt-free vegetable seasoning, Montreal steak seasoning, pasta topping seasoning, onion soup mix, and chili seasoning

Baking staples: Sugar and brown sugar

Cleaning supplies: Laundry detergent, dish soap, all-purpose cleaner, bleach, and paper towels

There are labeled donation bins located in front of the main office where students and families can drop off donated items.

Also, keep an eye out for the online store link coming soon! Students will have the opportunity to order shirts/sweatshirts to wear during the race! The link should be ready in about a day or two!
